Canon Procter's Church Guide
The Revd Canon John Edward Ingleby Procter was Rector of St James the Great, Thorley from 1909 to 1938, having previously been the Curate during the latter years of his Father's incumbency. In the 1920s he wrote and published a Church Guide, the text of which has been transcribed into electronic format and can be viewed here.
